(Information on the processing of personal data under Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 679/2016)

Foreword

We know how important privacy is. That is why we are committed to protecting the personal data of our customers and visitors to our site. This policy explains how we use your personal data.

Your personal data shall be processed in accordance with the principles of fairness, lawfulness, transparency, limitation of purpose and retention, data minimization, accuracy, integrity, and privacy, in compliance with the provisions of the Regulation.

Pursuant to the Regulation, MAIORA SOLUTIONS s.r.l. informs you that the personal data you may provide shall be processed in compliance with the above statutory regulation and in line with the criteria detailed below.

1) DATA CONTROLLER

The Data Controller for your personal data is MAIORA SOLUTIONS s.r.l. (hereinafter “Maiora Solutions” and/or the “Data Controller”), with registered office at Via Volturno, 5, Monza, Italy, in the person of its pro tempore legal representative

2) PERSONAL DATA PROCESSED

MAIORA SOLUTIONS shall process the following categories of personal data:

Personal details;
Contact details (email and phone number);
In addition to the above categories of personal data, additional data you share on Maiora Solution’s social network pages (Linkedin) may also be processed; for more information on the processing of such additional data, we invite you to refer to the third-parties providing the above services. The data collected through Social Networks include, for instance, likes, comments, and in general any content and information you may publish on the pages and/or accounts owned and directly attributable to Maiora Solutions. The data provided will be processed for the purposes of this Policy and will be kept in such a way as to ensure full respect for privacy.

3) PURPOSES AND LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING

Your personal data shall be processed in compliance with the laws and regulations in force on the processing of personal data and will be processed for the following purposes:

In case you are our client: the personal data will be used to manage the contractual relationship and will flow into our database and carry out statistical analysis, in an aggregate manner, on the composition of the database itself. The legal basis for the processing is the execution of the contract;
If you subscribe to our newsletter: we will use your data to periodically send you emails about our initiatives and services. When you subscribe, we ask for your consent, which you can revoke by writing to the email address info@maiorasolutions.com;
If you fill out the contact form on our site or if you write to one of our email addresses on the site: If you fill out the form on our website or contact us via email, we will use your data based on the pre-contractual measures prior to the conclusion of the contract;
Exercise the rights of the Data Controller,for example the right to defense in court;
Any additional purpose for which you have expressly provided your consent, which can be revoked at any moment.

4) NATURE OF THE CONFERRAL

The conferral of your personal data is optional. However, if you do not provide your personal data, you may be unable to access certain services (such as receiving our newsletter, etc.).

The mandatory or optional nature of conferral shall be indicated each time through symbols (such as “*”) next to the information for which your consent is mandatory in order to pursue the respective purpose.

5) METHODS OF PROCESSING

Your personal data shall be processed in compliance with the provisions of the applicable laws and regulations on the processing of personal data, through both electronic and automated means or manually. Your data shall be processed in manners suitable to guarantee their utmost security and confidentiality and only by individuals who have been instructed and authorised for processing. The Data Controller adopts technical and organisational measures suitable to ensure a level of security that is appropriate to processing risks.

6) DATA RECIPIENTS

Your personal data may be made accessible for the purposes detailed above, to employees and associates of Maiora Solutions, in Italy or abroad.

The personal data you provided may be communicated to the companies within third-party companies that carry out activities in Italy or abroad on behalf of the Data Controller, in the capacity as Data Processors. In case of data transfer abroad, the safeguard measures provided for by art. 45 of EU Reg. 679/2016 to guarantee data protection.

Your personal data may be transmitted to the judicial authority where necessary and in the cases in which it is required by law.

7) DATA RETENTION PERIOD

The period of data retention is linked to the purpose of the processing in progress. Maiora Solutions will not retain personal information more than necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was processed, including the security of our processing procedure in accordance with legal and regulatory obligations (e.g., control, accounting and legal retention terms), dispute management and for the practical determination or defense of legal rights in those countries where Maiora Solutions does business.

8) CHILDREN’S PERSONAL DATA

The protection of children’s personal data is extremely important. Maiora Solutions does not normally intend to collect children’s personal data or deliberately communicate with them.

9) RIGHTS OF DATA SUBJECTS

You may at any time exercise, with respect to the Data Controller, the rights provided under Articles 15 et. seq. of the Regulation, including:

Right of access to your personal data

The access request allows you to receive a copy of the personal data that Maiora Solutions keeps on you. You have the right to obtain confirmation on the existence of personal data concerning you, even if not yet recorded, and their communication in intelligible form (art. 7 of the Privacy Code and Regulation): you can obtain information about your personal data stored by contacting us at the email address: info@maiorasolutions.com;

The right to request the rectification of your personal data

The right to modify your personal data that are incomplete or incorrect. Maiora Solutions may require an additional declaration to verify the accuracy of the data provided.

The right to request the cancellation of your personal data

According to art. 21 of the Regulation, you have the right to request the cancellation or removal of personal data, if there are no legitimate reasons why Maiora Solutions should continue to process them.

The right to object the processing of your personal data

The right to object to the processing of personal data if this is based on legitimate interest and you believe that your fundamental rights have been breached. E-mails sent by Maiora Solutions that contain, for example, a newsletter or marketing messages, offer the possibility to unsubscribe. If you no longer want to receive our mail just send an email to “unsubscribe” and Maiora Solutions will proceed accordingly.

The right to limit the processing of your personal data

This right allows you to ask Maiora Solutions to suspend the processing in the following cases:

If you dispute the accuracy of your personal data;
If you believe that the use made by Maiora Solutions of your data is illegal, but you do not want to request its deletion;
If you have opposed the processing and Maiora Solutions is controlling the prevalence of its legitimate interests.

The right to request the transfer of your personal data to a third party

Maiora Solutions will provide you or your chosen third party with your personal data in a structured format, commonly used and readable by an automatic device. This right applies only information that Maiora Solutions processes by automated means and that was necessary for the contract that we concluded with you.

The right to lodge a complaint with the competent Supervisory Authority

If you believe that the processing of your data is contrary to the legislation in force, you have the right to make a complaint to the Italian Data Protection Authority.
